Peter has walked more than 50 miles knocking on doors and talking with voters. His goal is to see how many more conversations he can have before Election Day!

On October 20th, Peter participated in Mindset Survival Training hosted by the Town of East Greenwich at the EG Police Station. Taught by Officer Steve Branch, former EGHS School Resource Officer, the class focused on tips to survive an active shooter event. Engaged East Greenwich, a public Facebook group whose purpose is "to empower voters to make informed decisions in the November election, and beyond, by providing unbiased information and analysis about the pressing issues facing our town," published this Q & A with Peter on October 19: Engaged East Greenwich Q & A- Peter Rodgers

Peter participated in the Candidate Forum hosted by EG News and the EG Chamber of Commerce on October 3rd. He shared his commitment to providing advocacy, leadership, and creative solutions to problems if elected. The video of the forum can be viewed here:

Rabbi Laufer led a beautiful Rosh Hashanah ceremony outside the East Greenwich Town Hall on September 27th which included the traditional blowing of the shofar. Peter joined other Town Council candidates Brian Turner and Brandon Salomon, School Committee candidate Theresa Daly, and State Rep. for District 30 candidate Amanda Blau.

On October 1st, Peter joined other candidates and volunteers for Super Saturday, a day of action that included canvassing across several neighborhoods in East Greenwich reaching out to voters. Allan Fung, candidate for Congressional District 2, Amanda Blau, candidate for RI State Rep. District 30, and Doreen Costa, candidate for RI Senate District 35 joined in this effort.

Peter and his fellow Town Council candidates Brandon Salomon and Brian Turner have been attending Town Council meetings and studying the town's projects, challenges, and plans for the future.

On September 8th, Peter spoke with supporters at the East Greenwich Republican Town Committee annual fundraiser at Finns Harborside. He highlighted his history of leadership and reasons for running.
